DIY Lamp Shades

Today I was re-modeled my lamp shade. I had that dull, light blue that all lamp shade come in. Well, I’ve been on Pinterest  and seen what you could do with a lamp shade. There are several different things you could do with a lamp shade; you just have to be creative. . . . .

So I just took off on my own idea. I didn’t have a pattern, I just saw in my mind what it would look like. I dug through all our materiel and found the cutest stuff. We had some ribbon that matched and I went to work.

I cut the materiel into a circle and then cut out the center to make it look like a doughnut. Of course I had a little too much materiel, but it’s better to have too much, than not enough. =) After that I just preceded to hot glue till I was done.

Mine is the green bug materiel, and Amy’s is the white buttons. (To view larger just click the picture)
