DIY Magnet Boards

Standard

Amy and I have recently joined up to Pinterest. It’s a really cool site that lets you pin things you like, enjoy, or have made. And it lets other people know what you pinned so that they might take from your pins and make them as well.

Anyway’s, it’s really cool.

So we’ve been on there for three weeks now, and have made our first project. ‘Do It Yourself’ magnet boards.

All you need, is:

~material

~ribbon

~button magnets

~cute buttons

~a cheap cookie sheet

~and a hot glue gun with hot glue sticks

Basically, just hot glue the materiel to the cookie sheet. Fold the corners down then fold the sides, top and bottom and hot glue really good. After that you can put the ribbon on it any way you like. We tied ours like a bow at the top, and hot glued the ties down, across the corners. Then take more of your ribbon and make a hanger for it. Just hot glue really good to the back and then hot glue up the ribbon to the top.

Then you take your buttons and cut off the little back that you stitch through, to make it flat, and hot glue it to the button magnets. Once you do that all you have to do is hang it up.

What’s good about this project, is you can personalize it. Any kind of materiel, any kind of buttons, and kind of ribbon.

My board is the green one, Amy’s is the pink one. You definitely could say that we like color. Click on the picture to see it bigger.
